MOUNT WASHINGTON - A former police officer will receive probation and not jail time for offenses committed over the past couple of years.
Steve Cox was sentenced to three years in prison but that will be probated for three years.
Cox, a former Mount Washington police officer, had previously entered a plea on the charges of assault intimidating a participant in the legal process, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and trafficking in a controlled substance.
