“In the spring of 2008, we discovered that there was going to be an addition to our family and that Camden was going to be a big brother. We were shocked at the first ultrasound to find that I was carrying twins!” said Debbie Crowe. Within the next couple of months there were more suprises, the main one being that Debbie had Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). With TTTS, the mother’s egg splits late, causing one baby to receive more nutrition than the other. The hope was to carry the babies to 34 weeks and Debbie was put on bed rest.
