MOUNT WASHINGTON--Even though the growing season’s over, the Mount Washington Farmer’s Market is still continuing to reap benefits.
Last month they were awarded runner up in the small category for the best farmer’s market in the state by the Kentucky Farmer’s Market Association.
“I think it’s been an asset to our downtown district,” said Lori Puchino, market manager and director of the Main Street program.
“I’m happy we were able to fill a need it seems the community had,” she said.
