FFA starts year with lot of activities at BCHS

-A A +A

Sport season is right around the corner as long practice days and scrimmages begin for players. While the athletes are battling it out on the playing field, other Bullitt Central high school clubs begin their year on different footing, in particular, the Bullitt Central FFA chapter has started their year off with great enthusiasm.

Doing numerous summer activities (school functions, community service, and much more0 and working diligently on creating an alumni.

The goals the chapter has set for the year are clearly written and perhaps their largest this year is involvement.

The FFA chapter would love to see more parental, student, and community involvement in all that the club does.

After having a successful first Officer/alumni information meeting it seems that the advisors and the FFA officers are off to an excellent start. The chapter would again like to invite anyone interested in participating and supporting this club to attend the next alumni meeting Sept. 6, 2011, at 6p.m.

The meeting will be held at the Bullitt County extension office on Halls lane. We would love to see new faces this time around.
