MOUNT WASHINGTON – Community members that attended a Mount Washington Fire Protection District Board appeals hearing Thursday hoping to learn the fate of accused chief Michael Dooley might have to wait several more months before a verdict is reached.
Dooley was recently indicted in Bullitt Circuit Court on misdemeanor charges of second-degree official misconduct. The charges stem from accusations of mismanagement of funds connected to the fire board Crusade committee account and the now defunct firemen’s fund account.
