Firehouse may get new use in Cedar Grove

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - A firehouse might become a body shop in the Cedar Grove community.

Southeast Bullitt Fire District is seeking approval to rezone its firehouse and one-acre tract off Cedar Grove Road from its current R-1 Residential classification to B-1 Highway Business.

The request drew much comment from both the community and the Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission during its recent meeting.

The commission voted 5-4 to send a favorable recommendation to Bullitt Fiscal Court.
