The First Baptist Church in Shepherdsville will host the 47th annual Community Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
The service begins at 7 p.m. All the offering received will be used to benefit those in need in the community through the Fellowship of Concern.
Jeremy Willis of Journey Christian Church will bring the message.
Special music will be performed by The Southern Gospel Mystery Group, led by Dean Antle, minister of music at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a former member of The Journeymen.
Others participating in the service will include: Beverly Maguffee, Davidson Memorial UMC; Deke Rigor, Shepherdsville Christian Church; Carl Thomas, Immanuel Baptist Church; Shelby Pruitt, Eagle Heights Baptist Church; the Rev. George Love, Hebron Presbyterian Church; Betty Branson, president of the Fellowship of Concern; and musician Jody Wheeler.
Everyone is invited to this special service.
First Baptist Church is located on South Buckman Street, next to the Bullitt County Courthouse.
