SHEPHERDSVILLE - Even before production gets into full gear, the county’s newest manufacturer is planning to expand its workforce.
Magna Seating of America Inc. has amended its plan to open a new facility in Bullitt County, according to economic development director Bob Fouts.
The company, a supplier for Ford Motor Co., had already received preliminary approval of $6 million in state tax incentives last June.
At the time, the company said it would employ 234 workers.
Fouts said in the amended application, the company planned to employ 450.
