SHEPHERDSVILLE - A former city employee has been indicted for theft of materials.
Jeffrey D. Miller has been indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500.
It was discovered earlier this year that Miller allegedly took items valued at over $500 from the city. The dates of the alleged thefts were from May 8-11.
Miller was terminated.
The Class D felony is punishable by 1-5 years in prison.
Det. Steve Clark of the Shepherdsville Police Department investigated the case.
