SHEPHERDSVILLE - A former Bullitt Central educator will have to wait until June to find out his fate.
The final sentencing for Tim Lands, a former countywide teacher of the year, was delayed Monday. The new sentencing date will be on June 23.
Lands, who entered a guilty plea on Feb. 14, could serve three years in prison. The single count was for sexual abuse for his inappropriate relationship with a student at Bullitt Central.
During the plea agreement hearing, commonwealth attorney Michael Mann said he would oppose any request for probation.
