Foster parenting could provide new beginning for many youth

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - The life of a foster parent in today’s society seems as difficult as the foster child’s.

New Beginnings Family Services, a private, non-profit child placing agency focusing on therapeutic foster care, hopes to advise new foster parents in Bullitt County.

New Beginnings trainer Jerianne Strange will offer training and tips during a special program Wednesday, Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m., at Ridgway Memorial Library.

Strange mentioned a special need for new foster parents in Bullitt and surrounding counties.
