-A A +A
By Stephen Thomas

FOX CHASE - Where does a small city keep its most important items?

The city of Fox Chase has always implemented a storage unit, located at the Wee Stor-It Self Storage location on N. Preston Highway.

Mayor Owen Taylor said the unit was always free to the city for use. However, new owners have decided otherwise.

According to Taylor, the new owner would begin charging the city $115 per month for the unit’s use, effective as of Oct. 1.

Taylor said city records, emergency items, signs and city holiday decorations were kept at the location.
