SHEPHERDSVILLE - With more revenue coming into the city coffers through property taxes and increased occupational tax fees, Shepherdsville had an opportunity to catch up on its past due bills.
Mayor Scott Ellis said some of the bills approved recently date back to March 2011.
With the payment of the bills, Ellis said that would generally catch up the city.
When Ellis took office in January, he quickly learned that the city was over $300,000 in debt.
