Garbage bid solves billing issues

  SHEPHERDSVILLE - Garbage customers in Shepherdsville will not have to worry about changing companies when the current contract expires at the end of March.

And the city of Shepherdsville saved paying off a substantial bill for non-payment of accounts at the same time.

On Monday, the Shepherdsville City Council voted unanimously to accept the four-year bid of Eco-Tech, which is the current hauler.

Three companies provided sealed bids to the city.
