SHEPHERDSVILLE - A woman has been indicted for allegedly possessing counterfeit money.
Beverly Davis was indicted by the Bullitt County Grand Jury and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, two counts of theft by deception under $500 and being a persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, Davis allegedly possessed counterfeit $20 bills on Oct. 1, 2010,
She allegedly used the money to obtain property from two individuals on that same date.
The most serious charge is a Class C felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison.
