SHEPHERDSVILLE – One item not taken during annual junk days is household chemicals.
If solid waste coordinator Larry Hatfield is successful in securing a grant, Bullitt County may be host to its first household chemical disposal day.
Hatfield said he believes residents would be very pleased to have such an opportunity.
He anticipated having it over the course of five hours on a Saturday. A company specializing in chemical waste disposal would handle the operation.
