In a few months, Jerry Kennedy hopes the Bullitt County Sanitation District will receive a $100,000 grant to not only get the beleaguered system back in operation but some day lead to lower bills for residential customers.
Kennedy, manager of the Bullitt County Sanitation District, spent an hour on Tuesday afternoon trying to alleviate some of the fears and to tell residents about what he believes could happen in the future.
