However, that never reduced the dangers of responders being inside a building and not being able to communicate effectively.
When the city of Hillview came up with a possible solution, a funding source may now be available to make it happen.
For the past year, discussions have been held between city officials and county emergency management services officials on a way to improve the radio communications.
