MOUNT WASHINGTON -  It’s been 20 years since Green Meadows Healthcare Center opened its doors as a rehabilitation and long-term care facility.

To celebrate the momentous anniversary, the folks at Green Meadows recently hosted a public event complete with a pig roast, live music, fun activities for kids and plenty of anniversary cake.

Bullitt County Judge/Executive Melanie Roberts was on hand to present the staff with a proclamation decreeing Oct. 21 “Green Meadows Day.”

With Roberts, facility administrator Ben Bays recognized Barbara Vincent, Alice M. Hudson, Leshia Wethington and Betty Sue Thompson for their two decades of service.

“It’s been a great 20 years,” Hudson said.

“We look forward to continue caring for your loved ones.”
