Hallman found guilty of murder

SHEPHERDSVILLE - A jury found Steven Hallman guilty of murder in the Oct. 13, 2007, death of his wife.

Kimberly, 22, died of a single gunshot wound at their home off Beech Grove Road that evening.

The jury deliberated over three hours before finding the 30-year-old Hallman guilty of the murder.

Beginning Thursday morning the jury will decide the penalty for Hallman. He could receive a sentence of 20 years to life in prison.
