Hanley decides early that Austin Peay is for her

MOUNT WASHINGTON - On the basketball court, Bullitt East's Whitney Hanley knows what she wants and goes after it.

It was the same thing for the Lady Charger senior when it came to picking a college and a basketball program to compete with after she finishes her playing days at Bullitt East.

On Wednesday, Hanley completed a rare early signing when she put her name on the dotted line to attend Austin Peay University, a Division I school in Clarksville, Tennessee that plays in the Ohio Valley Conference.
