HEBRON ESTATES - “You have no police officers anymore,” said Hebron Estates attorney Mark Edison.
The announcement was made during the Hebron Estates City Commission’s March meeting.
Two deputy sheriffs, Mike Cook and Leroy Lerding, were under contract with the city for extra patrols and services.
Those contracts ceased following a decision by the Kentucky Department of Revenue, questioning use of police vehicles by off-duty officers.
