Complaint filed over improper votes cast in one precinct

By The Staff

SHEPHERDSVILLE - When the candidates running for the six Democratic opening for the Hillview City Council, they may have thought their fate was decided.

However, due to some non-city residents being allowed to vote in a single precinct, the primary election in that city will be determined in Bullitt Circuit Court.

As required by statute, Bullitt County Clerk Kevin Mooney filed a petition asking Bullitt Circuit Judge Rodney Burress to conduct a recount of Brooks precinct 12.
