HILLVIEW - Devin Duncan and his friends like to ride skateboards.
But they are tired of being kicked off business properties and tired of going miles away to find a place to do their recreation.
If the city of Hillview is successful in its grant application, skaters may have a place to call home next year.
A group of young adults appeared before the Hillview City Council. And they had some support from adults who know the importance of having an outdoor skate park for the teens in the community.
