Hillview looks for magical cure to stop speeders

-A A +A
By Thomas Barr

HILLVIEW — The mayor hates to get phone calls about speeding motorists.

The police chief hates to get phone calls from the mayor complaining about calls he is getting on speeding motorists.

The problem is there may never be a solution to the common denominator to the complaint calls — speeding motorists.

Hillview mayor Jim Eadens said he can look outside his front door and watch speeders race up and down Overdale Drive.

And he gets phone calls from all parts of the city complaining about drivers exceeding the speed limit.
