HILLVIEW - Wanting an ordinance to curtail some of the late-night loitering of minors, the Hillview City Council will consider a revised curfew ordinance at its first meeting in January.
Hillview mayor Jim Eadens said the police officers had requested an ordinance with some more teeth.
The main concern is the vandalism and thefts which occur late at night. There are also a lot of underage residents who are walking the streets at those hours.
Under the proposed ordinance, anyone under the age of 18 would have some restrictions on their activities.
