HILLVIEW - Property taxes will be dropping slightly for residents in the city of Hillview.
But the tangible personal tax rate will rise slightly for those businesses with inventory and equipment.
The Hillview City Council voted unanimously to lower its current tax rate of 12.07 cents per $100 of assessed real property to 11.45 cents.
For a property owner with a $100,000 home, that would mean taxes would go from $120.07 down to $114.50.
