SHEPHERDSVILLE - Oppressive heat last June has claimed an annual event for at least one year.
With temperatures soaring, attendance at the Red Crow Indian Council’s Pow Wow plummeted.
And without the revenue from admissions, secretary/treasurer Linda Dishon said there was no choice but to cancel this summer’s event.
“It was a hard decision,” said Dishon. “But it comes down to money.”
