HILLVIEW - Whether it’s a broken ankle or an ingrown toenail, Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Care Center can take care of all your podiatric needs.

Dr. Chris Hubbard opened the practice in August because he wanted to serve the people of Bullitt County.

“I felt there was a stronger need for podiatric care in the county,” he said.

Hubbard, who was employed by a local podiatrist group before opening his own office, has been practicing medicine for more than a decade.

After earning his undergraduate degree at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Ky., Hubbard went on to earn his doctorate at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Having spent years practicing with other physicians, Hubbard decided to go it alone when he was presented an opportunity to lease office space at Jewish Medical Center South in Brooks.

“It just seemed like a pretty natural fit,” Hubbard said.

Since starting his own practice Hubbard has worked hard to ensure his patients receive the best possible care in a friendly atmosphere.

“Our staff does a great job making sure our patients are comfortable,” Hubbard said.

Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Centers offers a wide variety of podiatric services from treating athletes foot to performing surgery and all procedures are provided in-house for added convenience.

Hubbard has experience treating a number of issues, including achilles tendon, ankle instability, sprains, bunions, calluses, corns, foot and ankle injuries and wounds, flat feet, fungus toenails, hammertoes, heel spurs, infections, poor circulation and warts, just to name a few.

Additionally, Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Care Centers specializes in diabetic foot care. The office also dispenses therapeutic shoes for diabetic patients.

Dr. Hubbard specializes in arthritic foot and ankle care and geriatric foot care as well.

Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Care Centers is located at Jewish Medical Center South, 1905 W. Hebron Ln., Suite 204.

Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, Hubbard is available to patients 24 hours a day in case of emergency.

Hubbard wished to point out that new patients are always welcome, adding that new patients can generally be seen the same day or the next day.
