 Some government agencies enter this new fiscal year with a smile on their faces.

While not robust in dollars, many agencies are doing OK financially, even in light of the tough economic times.

In Bullitt County, however, there is one entity which has gone out on a limb for its employees and another that is just looking to hold onto the limb a little longer.

Bullitt Fiscal Court voted 3-2 to approve its new budget. Included was a 50-cent per hour increase for county employees.
