SHEPHERDSVILLE -- Paroquet Springs Conference Centre will host this year’s Lincoln Heritage Boy Scout fund-raising dinner on Tuesday, April 12.

John Asher of Churchill Downs will serve as keynote speaker.

The leadership team of John Snider, Jose Cubero and Gary McGruder are recruiting a strong campaign team as they aim for the event’s $32,000 goal.

The annual dinner will offer a social hour and silent auction for the over 150 business leaders anticipated to attend.

According to Matt Abney, Senior Development Director for the Lincoln Heritage Council, “the funds received in this campaign will assist with the services provided to the packs, troops, and venturing crews in the Bullitt County area.  Training for adult leaders, district Cub and Scout activities, Venturing activities, Scouting for Food, and Hispanic and At-Risk Outreach programs are but a few of the activities and services provided to the community. “
