SHEPHERDSVILLE - Special seminars have been hosted in the past to raise meth awareness within the community. Now Partners in Prevention members are engaging in a “joint effort” to focus on a more traditional local problem: marijuana.
“A ‘Joint’ Effort” is the name of a marijuana workshop scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 6-8 p.m. at Bullitt Central High School.
PIP president Thrissie Dohn said the group planned to focus on marijuana as a “gateway drug” that could lead to use of harder drugs such as meth.
