SHEPHERDSVILLE - A Louisville man faces up to 20 years in prison for an attack on a Bullitt County woman.
The seven-man, five-woman jury found Charles D. Oakes guilty of robbery in the second degree, which carries a 10-year sentence.
However, due to numerous prior felonies, Oakes was also found guilty of being a persistent felony offender, which enhanced the sentence to 20 years.
That would be automatically appealed to the state Supreme Court for review.
