Bet you thought the decade-old legal battle between the city of Shepherdsville and Southeast Bullitt Fire Department/Pine Creek Forest Fire Protection District was over in 2012.
Well, to steal a line from the late Johnny Carson’s character, “wrong, fire-breathing breath.”
When everyone signed off on the long, bitter dispute between the city and the fire taxing district in December 2011, it was thought that everyone had been settled.
However, another lawsuit has been filed and it is time to get this thing over and done with.
