J.W. Curtsinger

J.W. Curtsinger, 74 formerly of Mt. Washington passed away June 7, 2012 at his home in Cadiz, KY.

He was a Baptist by faith and a retired employee of General Electric. He loved fishing, gardening and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Ruby Curtsinger; brother, John Curtsinger, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Nena Curtsinger; sons, Gary Porter,Shelby (Lori), James W.(Suzanne) and Jason Curtsinger (Rhonda); daughters, Karen Curtsinger(Danny) and Kim Young (Bill); brother, Raymond “Buddy” Curtsinger; sisters, Joann Cull (Bobby) and Billie Jean Cox (Lin); granddaughters, Kayla, Shelby Lea, Madison, Bailey and Myriah; grandsons, Jeremy, Matthew, Austin, Jacob, Alan, Alex, Ethan, Brodie and Dakoda.

His funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Schmid Funeral Home, Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Judes Research Hospital.
