MOUNT WASHINGTON - The offense is still looking for a little more firepower, but the Bullitt East Lady Chargers found just enough hitting last week to win two of three games to head to Florida with a .500 record.
The pitching and defense played better than the first week of the season.
Bullitt East might have turned the corner on Monday when they picked up a 2-1 decision against North Hardin when the red and gold scored both runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to steal the win.
