MOUNT WASHINGTON - Playing eight games over just 11 days, the Bullitt East Lady Chargers had a lot to celebrate when it was all over as the red and gold posted a 7-1 mark including the championship of the South Central Bank/Halton Classic at Allen-County Scottsville.
Bullitt East struggled at times over the first two weeks of the regular season dropping a pair of games. Since that time, coach Chris Stallings’ team has found its niche, winning ten of 11 games. In five of those 11 outings, the Lady Chargers have held the opposition to fewer than 25 points.
