LOUISVILLE – The Bullitt East Lady Chargers will open play tonight in the Girls’ Louisville Invitational Tournament at Bellarmine University’s Knights Hall.

Bullitt East has a two-game losing streak heading into this event, but has the number-four seed amongst the 12 Louisville area teams that are participating. Because of the high seed, Bullitt East did not play on Tuesday during the first four games of the event.

The Lady Chargers (15-4) will play the final game on Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday’s game between Manual and Christian Academy. The Bullitt East game is set for 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

With a win on Wednesday, Bullitt East will advance to play Franklin County on Friday at 5 p.m.

Bullitt East has not played Christian Academy this season, but they did beat Manual 61-47 back on Jan. 11 at a showcase event at Pleasure Ridge Park High School.

All of the games on Wednesday and Friday will be played at Bellarmine. On Saturday, the semi-finals and final will be played at Christian Academy.
