Lady Cougars bearing down on .500 record

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - After starting the season with a 6-10 mark, the Bullitt Central Lady Cougars battled back to within one-game of .500 last week with another strong showing in a weekend tournament.

After dropping a 3-0 setback to three-time defending Sixth Region champion Pleasure Ridge Park on Tuesday, coach Buddy Gallemore’s team headed to northern Kentucky for the Egleston-Maynard Sports Classic hosted by Lloyd Memorial on Friday. The Lady Cougars went 3-1 in the round-robin event to finish second.
