SHEPHERDSVILLE – A last-minute grant application has yielded success for Bullitt County officials.
Having just a couple of days to prepare the application for the Freedom Fund grant administered by TARC, Bullitt County has been awarded $80,800.
Roanne Hammond, Bullitt County planning and zoning administrator, wrote the grant in an attempt to secure funds to improve access to public transportation.
The money will be used to construct four bus shelters.
