SHEPHERDSVILLE - An updated tower lease agreement will help Bullitt County Disaster and Emergency Services maintain radio stability in the county’s southern end.
Bullitt Fiscal Court approved an updated tower lease agreement with W&B Broadcasting, Inc. The company owns WAKY Radio, formerly known as Cool 103.5.
DES coordinator Mike Phillips said an original lease agreement took place in 2003, allowing the county to place an emergency radio tower next to a radio tower located off of Collings Hill Road.
