Downtown Shepherdsville hosted its annual Light Up celebration on Friday with a twist.
Besides the normal caroling by groups like St. Aloysius, there was a parade with over 50 units.
The annual celebration had wonderful weather for the new Liberty Tax Service Christmas Parade. Entry fees went to the Bullitt County American Red Cross chapter.
Mayor Sherman Tinnell, who was grand marshal in the parade, had the honor of lighting up the Christmas tree.
