SHEPHERDSVILLE - A man who fled police after allegedly being involved in a drunken-driving incident has been indicted by the Bullitt County Grand Jury.
Brian E. Smith was indicted for escape, wanton endangerment, assault and fleeing police, all felonies.
According to the indictment, Smith allegedly had a blood alcohol content of over .18, which is over the legal limit of .08, on Sept. 5, 2009.
While he was driving on Beech Grove Road, Smith allegedly disobeyed an order by a sheriff’s deputy to stop and then did damage to a cruiser.
