SHEPHERDSVILLE - A man entered a guilty plea on two sex-related charges but under the stipulation that he suffered from a mental illness.
John Moorhatch, 57, of Louisville, entered guilty pleas on the charges of sodomy and sexual abuse.
Under the plea agreement reached between prosecutor Nick Raley and defense attorney Josephine Buckner, Moorhatch would serve 10 years for the sodomy and another two years for the sexual abuse.
Raley said he would oppose probation on the 12-year sentence.
