CLERMONT - Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest is pleased to announce Frank B. Wilson, President and CEO of Wilson Muir Bank and Trust Company, as the President of Bernheim’s Board of Trustees.

Bernheim also welcomes George R. Miller, owner of Suburban Construction, as a new trustee on the Board of Directors.

Wilson, who has been with the board for over four years, says, “When I was asked to join the Board of Trustees, I was humbled and excited to accept.  It was more than just a sense of volunteerism or stewardship.  Recognizing that Bernheim is such a wonderful resource for our region, if not our nation, I felt I needed to do more than just give back – I felt I needed to pay back for the joy and the inspiration the natural beauty of the forest has provided to me and my family for so many years.”

Long-time friend of Bernheim, George Miller, has been an essential part of Bernheim’s quail reintroduction program and other Bernheim initiatives for many years.

He is a respected member of the Shepherdsville community and will play a vital role in strengthening partnerships in the region.

“I love Bernheim.  Nature has always been a big part of my life and Bernheim is such a valuable resource to have available right here in Bullitt County – and we’ve got terrific people in this area who can, in turn, support Bernheim, whether through membership, community service or beneficial business relationships.”

Both Wilson and Miller will be instrumental in Bernheim’s mission of connecting people with nature.
