More commercial development set for MW rezoning

MOUNT WASHINGTON - A little more commercial development could be in the future for the eastern part of Bullitt County.The Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission gave a favorable recommendation to a request from Oakbrooke Properties to rezone 15.7 acres from R-1 Residential to B-2 Central Business.The property is located on the northwest intersection of the US 31 Bypass and High Point Court.Developer Kenny Stout said he has a contract to purchase most of the proposed property.
