Morris’ no-hitter lifts BE to 3-1 start

 MOUNT WASHINGTON - A no-hitter from senior Cody Morris on Tuesday highlighted a winning opening week for the Bullitt East Chargers.

Morris faced the minimum of 15 batters against Fern Creek as the Chargers won 13-0. The senior threw just 61 pitches. He did walk two, but both runners were out running the bases.

“Cody was as dominant as you can get,” said Bullitt East head coach Jeff Bowles.
