SHEPHERDSVILLE - There is no dispute that on April 14, 2008, Janice Hasch fired a handgun that killed her husband.
The question a Bullitt Circuit Court jury will have to answer is whether she intended to murder her husband.
Prosecutor Michael Mann concluded his portion of the case on Wednesday morning. Defense attorney Butch Turner began his case before the jury was dismissed until Thursday.
During his opening statement, Mann said that Janice Hasch took a gun, removed it from a pouch, loaded it and shot her husband.
