MOUNT WASHINGTON - Local residents who would like to find out how they can reduce their energy consumption and save money on their utilities will soon have the opportunity to do just that thanks to a federal grant Mount Washington received last year.
Of the $125,000 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant awarded the city by the U.S. Department of Energy, around $78,000 will be used to pay for 300 residential and small business energy audits.
