It’s not scientific. It’s not binding.
But the decision by members of the Mount Washington City Council to do a mock election on the issue of Sunday alcohol sales seems to be a logical move.
This is especially good since several of the current council members will be leaving at the end of the month and several will be joining the survivors in January.
The city of Shepherdsville did a similar mock election on its Sunday sales issue. The turnout was very low but the percentage of support for Sunday sales was very high.
